When releasing barra and other large fish in bull shark country, place fish on wet StrikeBack Truth Mat and then drive the boat away and release fish into a safe snag at least 60 metres from the point of landing. This procedure called 'the shift' protects released fish from waiting bull sharks which arwe attracted to a fighting fish. Always return fish to the water a quickly as possible particularly during high water temperature.
